A striking feature wall for your house this wall has it all, reclaimed materials, cleaner air, insulation and of course stylish good looks. Using wood reclaimed from old pallets and stained with water based stains we build a wood wall with shelves to hold plants. The plants are all specified for their ability to thrive in low light environments and taken from the NASA clean air study list of pollution eating plants. An irrigation system can be incorporated if required.
The wall below is for a bedroom with young children so the plants are deliberately kept out of the reach of small hands. In other situations you could add many more plants lower down.
The wall also has a cavity behind which can be filled with insulation to reduce heat loss in your house.
