Green roof update

The green roof in Hertfordshire is growing well, the sedum has bedded in and some wildflowers are starting to appear elsewhere.

Some of the thinner areas of substrate don’t seem to be producing much, I will monitor this and add more soil if nothing shows up in the spring. The brick dust I put down to help insects seems to be encouraging plants to grow well.

The temptation is to fiddle and there is a house leek waiting to be planted up there but I will try and resist any more interference and see what grows in the spring.
